Find Your Proctor

You are required to have a proctor when taking the FLATS Test. During the registration process, you will be presented with the list of all our certified proctors for you to pick from.
If you have additional questions about your university’s proctor, we encourage you to reach out to your university or peruse the information below…

What is a FLATS proctor?

A proctor is the person who is authorized to administer the FLATS test to you. Although the FLATS test is online, you are required to take the test with a certified FLATS proctor. The proctor is located at a college or university, and is usually a testing center employee.

Only an authorized person can be a proctor. Your proctor will provide a computer and a quiet testing environment for you to take your online test. Some schools will charge an additional proctoring fee, so if you have any questions about who your proctor is, where they are located on campus, or if there are any additional fees, we strongly recommend confirming things with your school before registering.

What is Proctor360?

If you are not able to take the test with an in-person proctor, you are also able to select Proctor360 as your proctor (if your school allows it).

Proctor 360 is a secure, remote proctoring service that has been approved to proctor the FLATS test. If you choose to be proctored in this manner, you will need to indicate it on your registration. Note that for this proctoring option, you will need to have access to a camera and microphone (laptops work great). There is a button on the registration page that will autofill everything you need for the proctor section of the registration to aid in the ease of selecting this service. Please note that they are a separate company from us and they charge an additional $20 fee.
